Significant Possession

A possession that hold significant meaning to me is a gift that I just recently got. Living away from home, my mom will occasionally send me little packages with some goodies inside. I always look forward to these and they always are so cute and make me so happy.

This Valentine's day, my mom texted me and told me to check my mailbox. I eagerly walked over to find a little package placed inside. I walked back into my apartment and opened it up. Inside, was a little silver bracelet. On the inner side of the bracelet were the words "she believed she could, so she did" engraved. This is one of my favorite quotes and I even have it tattooed on my spine.

This gift was so thoughtful and was something I wasn't expecting at all. Personal touches like the engravement can create so much more meaning. I always look down at the bracelet as a reminder when I am feeling down. I am so grateful for this gift and I love it so much that I barely ever take it off :)
